Announcing $1500 Bybit Alliance Chess Arena
Hello everyone! Recently I have re-signed with Alliance for another year. To celebrate this, we are excited to announce the Bybit x Alliance Chess Arena with a prize fund totaling $1500!
The arena is held Saturday 4 March starting at 9:00 a.m PT / 18:00 CET and is open
to everyone. The time control of the arena is 3+0, with the arena lasting for 2 hours.
The tournament will be broadcast on twitch.tv/annamaja as well as on ChessTV with commentary by FM Anna-Maja Kazarian.
Format
The format of the event is a 2-hour rating-based arena, with a time control of 3+0. For every win, a player gains 2 points, and a draw gains them 1 point. If a player is on a winning streak, they gain bonus points. As soon as the 2-hour timer runs out, the player with the most amount of points wins. Prizes
The prize fund features a mixture of top placement, rating, as well as best game prizes. This way every player has a chance to win a cash prize!
NOTE: Participants cannot win multiple prizes. In case a participant wins multiple prizes, they will receive the highest cash prize, and the other prize(s) will be awarded to the next eligible participant in the final standings.
How to join
UPDATE: We're allowing everyone that joins the Alliance Chess.com Club to participate in the event. However, only people who have completed all steps including signing up for Bybit are eligible for receiving prizes.

Only members of the club will be able to join the arena, which can be found here. Note that you can join the arena itself from 1 hour prior to the start.
Registration closes March 4 17:00 CET, so make sure you sign up in time!
Game submission
After the tournament has ended, participants have 48 hours to submit their favorite games from the event in the form here. The two most epic games will be awarded with a cash prize!
