Today I continue to write about my daily experiences in the 21 days to Supercharge your chess course.

Day 10, Day 11
My goals:
1. I want to study chess in an organized way. I hope 21 days of organized study of the course will build my habit to create and follow my study plans after the course finished.

The structure of the study of Day 12 was the following:
- Theoretical section:
Today I studied about opening preparation.
95% of club level chess players use too much time on opening preparation and not improving much. Better if they focus on endgames and tactics for faster improvment.
There is a 4 step plan to study openings:
1. Find annotate master games about the opening you want to study.
2. Study the games and understand the typical pawn structures, Piece placements, ideas.
3. Play practice games and compare them with the database to correct your mistakes and improve your understanding of the opening. Study only 2 openings for white and 2 for black
4. It is enough opening preparation. Study endgames, combinations, attacking skills, annotated master games!
Master game:
The key idea of today's master game was how to use the weak squares. Alekhine was able to get a rook on the weak c4 square and it helped black to dominate the match.
I annotated the game:
Tactics:
Today's motive was the clearing the square.
I show you 2 nice examples:
Endgame:
In the endgame today the defender king was too far away and the pawn was advanced too much, The attacker king can force the rook to give up the defence of the rook.
Conclusions of the Day 12 of the
1. We learnt the importance and a method to study openings.
Use less time in openings and more on tactics, endgames, master games
2. In today's master game we learnt about a weak square.
3. I solved puzzles about clearing the desired squares.
4. The pawn and rook endgame showed an example about the far advanced pawn and the activity pf the kings.
I decided to follow how much time I use every day for the study and monitor the total time used too.
Today I used 60 minutes. The total time I used until today is 9 hours and 44 minutes. You can follow the daily training times in this --> document
