My goals:
1. I want to study chess in an organized way. I hope 21 days of organized study of the course will build my habit to create and follow my study plans after the course finished.

The structure of the study of Day 19 was the following:
- Theoretical section:
In today's lesson I learnt how to play for a win against 100-200 points lower rated players:
1. We need to play solid, positional chess where we have better chances in the long term
2. We need to avoid unclear sacrifices and combinations.
3. If we have an advantage, exchange pieces and go for an endgame
4. We need to focus until the end of the game also If we have an advantages.
Master game:
Today's game was a long endgame fight by Carsen and Ivanchuk by slow step by step improvments of the position.
Tactics:
Today's theme was the opening and closing diagonals and files.
I share two beautiful examples with you:
Endgame:
This endgame shows how tricky ways we can support a passed pawn in the endgame:
Conclusions of the Day 19 of the
1. We learnt key ideas about how to win against weaker opponents.
2. In today's master game we looked a long endgame where the advantege built up by little steps.
3. I solved puzzles about opening lines and files and using pins.
4. In today's endgame we learnt how important to search for tricky ways to support our passed pawn.
I decided to follow how much time I use every day for the study and monitor the total time used too.
Today I used 30 minutes. The total time I used until today is 17 hours and 4 minutes. You can follow the daily training times in this --> document
