Chess Mindset Survey to support GAMExperiment

First off, I’d like to thank those who participated (or are finishing up participating) in the GAME. I’m very grateful to those who spent time and energy contributing to the project.

I’m coming to you with the final opportunity to participate in GAME research by completing a roughly 5-10 minute survey. GAME is the Gaming and Mindset Experiment designed to help better understand how our attitudes impact out gameplay experiences. (See my last blog post for more background.)

If you’re up for supporting science, and learning a bit about your chess experience in the process, please consider signing up! (It is also open to those who participated in the experiment portion of GAME.)

This latest and final survey goes hand in hand with the previous experiment just wrapping up studying mindsets in chess and it would go a long way to aid the analysis of the data. The (anonymized) results of this survey along with the experiment previously conducted will be posted after it is completed, but will be available to participants early! (You are welcome to discuss the contents of the survey, but please wait until after I update this saying it’s closed as to not influence others who might sign up.)

There are no other requirements to participate other than having a Chess.com account.
