Celebrating One Year of HitThePin

Today, I got this little notification from chess.com:

It's been a whole year since that fateful October evening that I set up my chess account. Three hundred sixty-five days.

On one hand, it felt so long. So many things happened. Countless kings checkmated. Countless experiences shared. Countless hours of fun totaled.

On the other hand, it felt quite short. We all wish that we did more things when we could had the time as we look back on them from the future, and I am no exception.

Of course, year one is not the end. Year two is upon me now, and after that, well, who knows? 

Thanks to all of you people who treated me with the common decency that we should all treat each other.  The laughter we've shared together will be remembered.

Also, I’m changing my profile pic in celebration of year two. 

Thanks for sticking with me this far. May the next three hundred sixty-five days be as good as the last ones!
