GOTW #6: The Epic Rematch

Hello, chess.com! I’m HitThePin, and welcome back to the first GOTW in a very long time.

If we can think about GOTW #4 for a moment, can you remember he game that I played with Waredude? I emerged victorious after a long, grinding daily game. Then we both made blog posts over the same game.  This happened about a month and a half ago.

Well, today’s game is about the epic rematch between us! Just like the first, it is a mixed bag, full of mutual brilliancies and blunders. Thrown into the mix this time, I will sow all sorts of psychological opening preparation I had prepared for this game.

Without further ado, here is the game!

All in all, this was an amazing game for both of us that resulted in Waredude somehow taking nine points away from me.  After the game I was bleary-eyed and tired for the rest of the day: I had given it my all. It was a great return back to chess.com.
