GOTW #8: Double Feature!

Hello, chess.com! I’m HitThePin. Happy Labor Day, and welcome back to GOTW.

Due to me unfortunately unable to post last week, I’ll make up for that and then some. Multiple games at once. Are you ready?

PART 1: Rychessmaster’s revenge

You remember me playing rychessmaster1 before? Yeah? Vaguely?

Well, I’m browsing through the forums on my phone, when suddenly, a little gray box pops up at the top, “rychessmaster1 (2057) 3 min unrated”.

Being the reasonable guy that I am, I hit the check mark. And here is what happened!

PART 2: Waredude and the fancy move

Do you also remember a game against Waredude, in which I was winning? Then I tried to get fancy, dropped two minor pieces, and almost lost. Probably my my finest moment.

Well, life is a cycle. This time is was Waredude’s turn to make some fancy moves and regret it afterwards.

This was the fourth game out of five in a blitz series between us.

I hear you, the reader, complaining. That second game was a mere thirteen moves, you want more material, etc. Well, OK. You asked for it.

This game was with an old friend of mine. It requires no explanation or annotation. Just play over the moves and enjoy.
