GOTW #9: Damiano strikes again! Battles of 45|45

Hello, chess.com! My name is HitThePin, and welcome to GOTW. As always, I am very glad that you clicked on the blue letters of the title that brought you here.

In a previous blog post, I mentioned that I have not played a 45|45 game. Well, that changed. This game was my very first 45|45 game that I ever played on chess.com.

I like to consider myself a positional player, but I quite enjoyed the king hunt that took place and subsequent early checkmate that took place. And just so you know: I was doing it on the fly by move four. Which I’m pretty proud of.
