The above photo comes from Das interessante Blatt of Dec 22, 1898. Not a new find! It depicts Carl Schlechter playing blindfold at the Vienna Chess Club on Dec 04, 1898. The exhibition was for seven boards, arranged like a horseshoe, and lasted less than 4 hours [from 16:00 to 19:45].

The opponents were the following: Strauss, Feilendorf, Dr. Hock, Schossberger, Bruckner, Spielmann & Iner [possibly mentioned as they were arranged], while the only namely results that I've found are Strauss, Feilendorf & Dr. Hock, wins for Schlechter, and Bruckner, draw. But in total Schlechter achieved +4, =3.

Trying to find any game of this exhibition I've managed to track a Schlechter's article in Allgemeine Sport-Zeitung Dec 18, 1898, p.1494 [followed by a short report of the event written by others], where his win vs Strauss was presented with some comments...
