Two instructive twin endgame studies by Matisons

When Hermanis Matisons died in Nov 1932, Andre Cheron published at least 8 articles in Le Temps, representing some Matisons' endgame studies. In the issue of 12 Feb 1932, I've found two beautiful twins studies. They are based on the knight + pawn vs rook endgames, with kings in some distance. Usually these endgames are drawn with some exceptions when the rook can win. At least this is what I've found generally in theory.

In these studies is represented the idea of knight's win.

Here are the studies in Le Temps... I hope it's working

1 of 2 - 1st endgame study
2 of 2 - 2nd endgame study
