Return To Chess 5--Lucena Position

Hey, everyone.  First of all, thank you so much for the kind comments.  I really appreciate it.  Today, I finally felt as if I began to settle into a groove with the puzzles, as I went 8/10 and am inching closer to a 2400 puzzle rating.  I also played 3 training games, which were all over the place: in the first one, I destroyed my opponent from the jump and scored an early resignation from them.  In the second, I made many blunders, but was still able to pull out the close match, as my opponent made a fatal mistake towards the endgame.  In the third, I hung my queen on move 8.

Ouch.

However, I then decided to review some basic endgames, learning from John Bartholomew's Chessable course.  For those of you reading who are master-level, god-tier players, y'all already know the Lucena position like the back of your hand.  However, as a beginning/intermediate level player who routinely messes up endgames, I feel as the Lucena is very important, as having only a pawn up in a rook endgames has occurred in many of my tournament games, and I've rarely converted.  Here are my annotations for how to build the bridge and convert this endgame, and below is the accompanying video.

Thanks for reading,

Jack
