From Wilhelm the first to Emanuel the Second, we arrived in this series at the third world champion: Jose Raul Capablanca. The Cuban grandmaster reigned from 1921 to 1927. Maybe the most glamorous amongst the World Champions, but on the chess board he crushed his opponents ruthlessly. Contrary to Lasker, he was outplaying his adversaries without (much) opening preparation. In his game against the rather unknown Edward Sergeant - who was already a pawn down - he felt no compassion for his opponent.
In case you would like to learn more about the techniques and tactics of the World Champions, applying their methods in one of your own games, please me write a message on chess.com. I give personal courses on all levels on categorized themes, such as weak king, defending, strong square, open file/ ranks/ diagonals, dominance, fortresses etc.
