What was the turk?

Chess bots have evolved so much over the past 30 years but the first Ai/Robot was called the turk and it was programmed to play other top chess players at really high levels. I'm going to show you the games today. 

Napoleon (At that time the leader of france) was trying to scholar mate, and that didn't happen as he kind of got destroyed and lost. He was also trying to make illegal moves but that didn't work at all.

This next game isAugustus Zerega vs the turk and is the final game we are looking at today.

Augustus Zerega Tried his best but lost a pawn and played G5. Not only are you getting attacked but you move the pawn in front of your king and traded everything sacrificed his rook for a bishop and a knight to fork the rooks and down a knight Augustus Zerega resigned.
