So Wins All American Match On Independence Day

Magnus Carlsen, Wesley So, and Anish Giri were all victorious today and there's something significant about all three wins. Carlsen took down Ding Liren, the only player left in the world top ten he hasn't defeated in a classical game. So won on Independence Day, so this will be a day to remember in more than just one way. And last but not least, Giri scored his first win of the tournament and his first win against a current top ten player this year. Here are the games played in Round 8 of the Croatia Grand Chess Tour event.
