On the start date it will be the 65th birthday of Tanya Roberts, who was of course for our purposes Stacey Sutton in A View to a Kill 1985 in the Bond series. She had built towards this with being cast in the last series of Charlie's Angels 1980-81 as a new Angel, then The Beastmaster 1982. Before being given her own lead role in Sheena - Queen of the Jungle 1984, as part of the publicity she did an interview and spread in Playboy. Following that her career has faltered somewhat with appearances in TV series and TV movies. Born in The Bronx, New York City she spent several years in Toronto modelling and then returned to New York training at the Actors Studio and appearing in off-Broadway productions as well as TV commercials for Ultra Brite, Clairol and Cool Ray sunglasses before moving to Hollywood.
