Alright guys. @jackityjackjack has retired as Vote Chess Captain. His assistant, @jumush, is not the person I would like to give control over all of that. I will be taking over as VC Captain, until I find someone willing and able to take the position. In the meantime, I would like to build up a decent team. I have decided that there are going to be 10 top spots. These 10 people will be given Coordinator as long as they are on the team. To be on the team, all you have to do, is join all of our Vote Chess matches, and communicate in the chats of each game. You do not have to be on the team to join Vote Chess, of course. If you are not on the team and would like to be, but all 10 spots are full, you will have to be more active in all VC games than another person. Message me to let me know you would like to join, so that I can watch and see that you are more active.

VC rules:

1. For the first 24 hours of each move, we will talk about the move and decide which move is best.

2. At 24 hours, you may vote whether I said to or not.

3. If we have decided on our move before 24 hours, I will post a vote call and you may vote then.

4.Everyone may post their opinions and what they would prefer to move. The more options we have the better.

5.On the first move as white, you may vote at any time, and you may vote for the moves e4, d4, c4, and Nf3. If you want to vote for a different opening move, you need to ask, and I may give you permission to vote for that. I won't do that if you want to play a4, but most opening moves I will allow.

6. For games that are 24 hours a move or less, you may vote only at a vote call or at 4 hours. Since 4 hours is a hard deadline to make, I will post vote calls before that if possible.

7. If you create a Vote Chess, you must message me saying that you created it. I get a ton of messages from Chess.com, so I usually miss the original notification.
