West Hills Chess Club

This is a Chess Club for people from West Hills, maybe West Hills adjacent (Woodland Hills, Canoga Park, Simi Valley, Bell Canyon, Oak Park, Hidden Hills, Calabasas, Topanga, Tarzana, Chatsworth, etc.) I started a San Fernando Valley Chess Club, but if you live here then you know that people tend to stay on their own side of the Valley. For me, from West Hills, going to Studio City or Burbank or Sherman Oaks or Sylmar or Van Nuys or other places "over there" can be a big hassle. So I thought I'd create a more localized group for those who live, work, or have some other connection to West Hills or the neighboring areas. This increases the chance people in the club might wind up meeting in real life to play chess or whatever. If you want to join, just tell me your connection to West Hills. I'd let membership be open, but I want to keep out those who just like to join every club there is and have no real connection to the area.
