CCCP, Союз Советских Социалистических Республик, has contributed a lot to chess theory as we play today. With seven World Champions. Botvinnik, Smyslov, Tal, Petrosian, Spassky, Karpov and Kasparov, besides new generations like Kramnik, Ivanchuk, its' influence on chess is immense.
