Checkmate! is a group which welcomes anyone who wants to come and play some decent chess; we have regular Vote Chess and Team Matches and get a good turnout in them. Our numbers are growing steadily and we participate in events such as the successful SVC tournament, which plays exciting Vote Chess matches with 10 minutes for each move.
