Clubs

Hi! This is the online extension of Escape Square, an amateur chess club in Portland, OR that meets weekly to play, learn and talk about chess. We welcome new players, "I was in chess club in 3rd grade" types, hobbyists, and anyone with an idea for a crazy variant their friends refuse to play with them -- a couple of the best club inventions so far include 3-move and "rationale" chess.
Skill levels range from around 800-1400. You can absolutely come if you've never played and want to learn, but if you're at a competitive level you probably won't have much fun. DM for details!
