The Roman Colosseum
Welcome my friends, countrymen and citizens of Rome to The Roman Colosseum!! In his wisdom and beneficence, the Emperor Vespasian commissioned the Colosseum to be built in 70 A.D. However, the Emperor would not live long enough to see it completed. His successor the Emperor Titus would see to the Colosseum's completion just two short years after his father's death. The Colosseum has stood for centuries as a symbol of Roman power in the ancient world. Now, with the help of a wonderful staff we have reopened it. The festival of blood will continue to live on through our chess tournaments.
