Hello all!
It's been an amazing ride! We have finally reached the finals! The match to determine who will win the $1500 1st place and the $1000 2nd place prizes will start tomorrow. The match will take place between:
IM GNABURITS (who has confirmed his titled and identity to Chess.com, but wishes to remain anonymous)
and
IM Alexander Katz (CryptoChess).
Game 1 is Saturday, November 15th at 3pm PDT, 6pm EDT.
Game 2 is Sunday, November 16th at 4pm PDT, 7pm EDT.
Game 3 is Monday, November 17th at 3pm PDT, 6pm EDT.
Game 4 is Tuesday, November 18th at 3pm PDT, 6pm EDT.
Chess.com will attempt to have live coverage on Chess.com/TV of the games, but you can certainly follow along in Live Chess.

All Round 2 Qualifiers need to accept their invites for the Round 2 group here: http://www.chess.com/groups/home/round-2--2014-world-mind-games -- and if you have NOT accepted our invite or your group invite settings are closed -- you will simply not get as many chances to qualify for Round 3 as the others
The official rules can still be found here http://www.chess.com/news/official-2014-mind-games-tournament-rules-2919 and anyone who has questions on how our top finishers will move onto the "Prize Round" of Round 3, can find that information there
Rigorous cheat detection will continue to apply in Round 2. Obviously we are disappointed that so many players were disqualified during this qualifying portion (include a titled player) -- but we hope it serves the "greater good" in proving to the world that we will never settle on anything but making our site the best, cleanest most amazing chess site in the world... and that if you cheat on Chess.com, titled player or not, you WILL get caught!

Hello MindGame chess fans,
From many posts, it seems like many people have a hard time finding the MindGames chess tournament, so here is a detailed guide for finding the tournament.
1. Go to http://www.chess.com/livechess/myhome
2. Click on the huge orange button that looks like this: PLAY LIVE CHESS! (or just click this button)
3. Click the box that says "Tournaments" right above from the seeking graph chart.
*Note - if your screen is just a blank chess board, then move your cursor the right hand side of the screen and drag your mouse and you should see it.
4. On the very right side of the live chess server, you should see a bunch of signs that say "Join" or "Watch". Click on "Join" next to the MindGames Tournament.
5. *Note - be sure to log on at the right time
Pacific Daylight Time (California, etc.)- 12:05AM, 6:05AM, 12:05PM or 6:05PM
Eastern Standard Time (New York, etc.) - 3:05AM, 9:05AM, 3:05PM, or 9:05PM
CONVERT TO YOUR OWN TIME ZONE
