I was under the understanding that 50 moves by each player without a pawn move or a capture is a draw. Is this right? I'm in a debate with a guy in a tourney game! Hope you can help

Most of this website is used by players from the northern hemisphere and the're asleep when i want to play. Why don't we play against each other more frequently?

Why are so many of the Australian Legends' team matches for players with ratings >1400? I'm no master, but with a rating of 1700 I still get excluded.
