I have decided to have this Elimination tourney! To join, just post here. In a few days I will start the tournament, if we have adequate players. Here is how it works:
Challenge anyone else in tourney.( Players list below)Games are rated. Name the game, "elimination Tourney"
Tell me, if they accept, who you are playing.
Tell me who wins in the end.
Loser will be eliminated, winner stays.
Draw means nobody gets eliminated.

Today's puzzle comes from an online correspondence game I played a while ago. Black is down an Exchange for a Pawn(ultimately, down 1 point), but it's White to move and mate in six. The mate could've come sooner but Black's defense was actually best, according to Fritz at least, and I can't find anything that prolongs it more than six moves. I was down to the last 5 minutes before I had to make this move, I just had this feeling that some strong combination was in the works. Can you find it?
