Hi everybody We will create a tournament in live chess (3 min, 5 rounds) for our club members only using that new feature in chesscom v3. the tournament will appear in tournaments tab in live chess at right time. Start time will be around 14.30 GMT, start date will be first and last Thursday of every month, please be available at that time. Results will be posted here, say/suggest something and discuss about it here if u want to play.

After playing with black/white pieces players should instantly start playing next game with opposite colored pieces(black/white). Players should appear to play between 13 GMT to 17 GMT on game day to play, so is they should contact in live chess or by messages before for the game. If any player do not respond to opponent in 2/3 days then points will be awarded to his opponent on forfeit game, for this opponent should let admins know about it by posting comment/messages in group notes or in specific posts. 8. if members greater than 6 then small knockout groupings will be created following rules written in this section - "How is seeding and group placement determined in multi-group tournaments" of this tour: help page -https://www.chess.com/tournaments/help according to the rating written by players when they registered. 9. if you can't play in tournament, you should write in the respective forum post before tournament begins. 10. Using engines and other kind of cheating will not be allowed anyhow, if found then his/her account is in risk of closing here in chess.com and also will be banned from group & will not be awarded prizes. Hi chess cafe members and masters, this is a useful post to improve our strategies on attacking on king, there are other themes we can work on later. So i started first of the series of "chess improvements". Following is the first exercise, more exercises coming soon on "attacking the king". In these exercises there are series of moves to checkmate king, what is the first move to start the strategy and then what next moves will be ? post your answer in comments. solutions will be put in a separate post but never look at solution post first but try to guess what is the best way to checkmate the king then look for solution. Don't see solution post first, But try to find best moves on your own for practice Exercise 1: Black to move Exercise 2: White to move Hope it will help everyone in our group so that we never doubt on our strategies on attacking the king if this is our weakness or we have lack of expertise on this topic.

Last time we arranged successful blitz tournament in custom way in our group, details here - https://www.chess.com/news/first-blitz-tournament-fixtures-6821 But there were many problems, I summarized some problems here, suggest how to overcome all these issues so that we may think of more tour: even having money as prizes. Issue 1: Big issue is time management is very poor, not all intl members able to play in certain time for many reasons,so even if they fix time but they are not appearing to play many times. Issue 2: Players not properly communicate with each other to fix time to play game in live chess, they do not check/send personal message timely manner, they don't check specific forum post/group wall for communication, lack of dedication. Issue 3: Net problem Issue 4: Using of engines. Although we have engine analysis and T1 T2 T3 percentage using a software to catch cheater but the cheater is more/less clever than us.

Most of the times when i suspect someone using engine then i am almost always right, recently i played two 15 min game vs a opponent nandeko and i was in doubt seeing his game play so accurate that he can't be 1600 rated player, so i checked the game using engine, following is a snapshot(left one first game and right one is the 2nd game) of the engine analysis and game links - https://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=1568398727 https://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=1568389097 his centipawn loss value is less than 10 !! no mistakes or blunders even inaccuracies !!, it's a super gm level game play. So i am quite sure it's a engine user, what you say?
