The lot of you will probably play 1.e4 on the board, but let me explain the Queen's Gambit, which is exceding popular in high-level chess. It's not really a "Gambit" as the name suggests, but it is momentarily giving away a pawn to decoy the enemy d-pawn away from its important position on d5, controlling c4 and e4. If they take your pawn, it is good. If you ever see this position on the board, this is the continuation.

So, as this is my first "Blog" on chess in this club, so I wanted to talk about something Important. I have been playing a lot of bullet and that has been affecting my gameplay. Just have a look. I was down so much material but I managed to win. But in bullet games, when my opponent is low on time, I just go for checks. This leads me to belive that I behave increasingly erratic in my rapid games. Let me show you what I mean. This leads me to think that bullet is EXTREMELY Bad for you! When you want to play 10 second games next time, Think twice!
