I know Ginger GM recommends entering the Dutch with 1 . . . e6 after 1 d4, but does he give the same recommendation against the English? Because d4 has not been played can't Black play 1 . . . e5 and later play f5 in Reverse Grand Prix fashion? Also, against 1 Nf3 are there any move order nuances?

How many of you guys play the Black Lion, which Simon has championed? If you do play it, how's it working out? I recently started playing it (again) against 1 d4 after trying out the Classical Dutch for a few months. I've always enjoyed it, finding I can often get a significant time advantage over opponents, even on rapid time controls. (I'm around 1400 rapid)
Example of a game where I felt I was able to dominate throughout (although computer analysis disagrees, of course). It was a comfortable game.

It's not very fun to play with and every move he recommended the engine says it's an inaccuracy.

Just watched Simon's tutorial on the English Defense on the chessbase site and the part concerning the English Defense from his MasterMethod series. I gotta say I really enjoyed it and will try to play it over the board when having gathered some experience with it online. Anyone else also fascinated with this stuff as I am ? I'd love a long DVD from Simon on this topic.

So I had the chance to play GM Hikaru Nakamura during a live broadcast of Nakamura's Knockouts on Twitch.tv in a 3 +2 game as White, which gave me the unique opportunity of trying out the London System that I learned from GingerGM's London System playlist on Youtube against a Super Grandmaster.
Frankly, this was just one of the best things to ever happen to me and I'm showing it off.
Tried to play in a way that would make Simon proud.

Hey Ginger GM fan boys and girls! I would love to try some vote chess vs other clubs! I have never done vote chess and I believe we need the super admin, Mr. Williams to initiate the game...? If we did play it would be super interesting if we could follow the opening recommendations that Simon Williams gives in any of his educational material eg Killer D4, Killer Dutch, Killer Dragon, Attacking Chess The french, his stuff on the london, the english, tigers modern....
I guess this thread is to gauge interest.
Imagine matches in vote chess or just a match vs clubs like Daniel Rensch or against the Finegold Fairies ...
