What is Vote Chess? Vote Chess is a game played by multiple players on different sides where each player casts a vote to try and determine the final move. Then the move with the most votes is played. This can be a great training tool. It open doorways to the thinking of both stronger and "still learning" players. Use the in-game notes section to discuss plans and moves before ultimately casting your vote. Are players interested in this team style game?

So with your support just looking to take the club onwards and being SA helps in our leagues and recruitment. Hope you support and thanks for everything your all doing.

As a chess club with a good standing in our own local community, our online precense should epitamize all that we stand for. Chess.com bans players daily for using outside assitance (i.e. Stockfish, Houdini among others) to aid their play. Some illicit the use of a phone or tablet running mobile engines such as shredder, to also help their game. There is an excellent article titled How to Cheat at Chess written by NM Sam Copeland. He details the various way people try to circumvent the rules of play and etiquette, it's almost a DIY know how guide into cheating! What it does manage to do is highlight the problem chess players have when playing not just online but in tournaments OTB. That said, it is important that we as a club maintain our integrity and play fairly. Try not to get entangled with an abusive player, and always report such instances. Ultimately, have fun and enjoy playing chess.
