Step 1: Login to Chess.com   Step 2: Select Connect from the following menu:  Step 3: Select Clubs from the Sub-Menu  Step 4: Click on “Parsippany PAL Chess Club” Step 5: In the box that says “Write a note…”  Write a note that says you are here then press the “Post” Button.   Step 6: Please do not start any games until pairings are announced in the “Notes” Window. Pairing announcements will look like this:   Step 7: The first person named plays White vs the second person named who plays Black. It’s the responsibility of the person who plays white to issue the challenge to the person playing black. This is done by clicking on the name of the person playing black in the “Notes” window. This will bring up an information box like this: Step 8: On the bottom of the information box there is group of action icons. The first one is the “Challenge” icon (i.e. the chess board with a + in the corner) . The challenge box looks like this: To specify the a time of 60 minutes, press the "Time" button, then the "More" button and enter "60" in the "Min" box then press the "OK" button.  To specify the color you are playing press the "Options" link. Choose your color or  "Random" if pairings indicate "Toss" for color. Hit the "Play" button.Go to  "Play"/"Live Chess" from the main menu (same menu as shown in step2) to wait to receive the challenge or its acceptance.  Step 9: When the game is finished, the winner should come back to the “Notes” window of the Club to post results.
