This might seem intimidating, but there is one and only way to beat stockfish without using an engine. Step 1. Set the time control to 10 seconds Step 2. Enable pre-moves (That can be done in your settings!) Step 3; Challenge Time!!!!! (Always play white and start with move sequence 1.e4 2.Nf3 3. Bc4 4. Nc3 5. d3 6.0-0 The rest is up to you!!!!!) I hope this helped you beat stockfish and increase your bullet rating!!!!!!!!

The classic Fried Liver is 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5!? The best way to defend is to play 4....d5. Any other move would be a mistake because your f7 pawn is very weak and Nxf7 is played you would lose either a queen or rook. White's response would be 5.exd5 and then black would most likely play either 5....Nxd5 or 5....Na5. Because 5....Nxd5 is most likely, I will go over it. 6. Nxf7 Seems very very bad. It really isn't bad at all. You expose black's king into the center after 6....Kxf7. Play usually continues 7.Qf3+ Ke6 8.Nc3. Black will play 8...Nb4 or 8...Ne7 and follow up with ...c6, bolstering his pinned knight on d5. If Black plays 8...Nb4, White can force the b4-knight to abandon protection of the d5-knight with 9.a3?! Nxc2+ 10.Kd1 Nxa1 11.Nxd5, sacrificing a rook, but current analysis suggests that the alternatives 9.Qe4, 9.Bb3 and 9.0-0 are stronger. Try not to fall for 7....Kg8??????? which makes checkmate in 3 for white that involves a queen sac.

The Scotch Opening or Scotch Game is signified by 3.d4 after the regular 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6. The best theoretical line after that for black is to play 3....exd4. 4.Nxd4 is the main line after 3...exd4. Black has 2 options after 4.Nxd4 is played. They can play the Classical Variation by playing 4.... Bc5 or they can play the Schmidt variation of 4....Nf6. Both ways work for black and any other move besides those two could be deemed as inaccurate. If 4...Bc5 is played, White has 5.Nxc6, 5.Be3, or 5.Nb3. After 5.Nxc6, play almost always continues 5...Qf6 (Black does not lose a piece on c6 because he is threatening mate with 6...Qxf2) 6.Qd2 dxc6 7.Nc3. On 5.Be3 play almost always continues 5...Qf6 6.c3 Nge7 7.Bc4 7...0-0 (7...Ne5 is more often played here.) 8.0-0 Bb6 where the position is roughly equal. On 5.Nb3 play almost always continues 5...Bb6 6.a4 a6 7.Nc3. Another plan for White is to play 6.Nc3, followed by Qe2, Be3, h4 and 0-0-0. If 4.... Nf6 is played then White has 5.Nxc6 or 5.Nc3. After 5.Nc3 almost always played is 5...Bb4 6.Nxc6 bxc6 7.Bd3 d5 8.exd5 cxd5 9.0-0 0-0 10.Bg5 c6. After 5.Nxc6 bxc6 6.e5 Qe7 7.Qe2 Nd5 8.c4 is also very common.
