I like to do anything that benefit others.... i like to sleep whole day whole night... i like to play chess... i like to ponder plan dream... and my dreams include many of the wildest of wild..... i like a world without criminals and politicians......
I am happy with good people around me. I am happy to live in a world who help others....

I was playing a game where I had an objectively won position but then I blundered and suddenly was losing. I decided not to resign in the face of an impending pawn storm and got a quite pretty mating pattern. Addmitedly he would have been fine if he had just captured my knight but he didn't and the rest is history. Those with the winnig position are most likely to get overconfident and feel the sting of the tenacious player that just won't quit!

Hi friends..
This is a new topic... inspired from acacius.
We were watching Television or go to a Film theatre to see movies or motion pictures. But time has enormously changed.. We are in the era of youtube and facebook - both has substancially incresed our knowledge through vidoes.
A whole lot of videos in both mediums are filled with advertisements so I dont think to post the links here.. instead i feel it is better to filter while watching and present before all my friends here.
Feel free to comment and post new vidoes that you feel like sharing

I've been doing a lot of tactics puzzels lately and I feel like I'm going through a growth spurt. This is probably the prettiest checkmate I've done (or at least that I remember) in live play.

Here are a couple of games with fun tactics in them. Both of these are blitz games so keep that in mind with major oversights. I completely threw away a won position in the first game due to a silly oversight.

So this game is unremarkable I suppose. My opponents play was truly terrible. But I have been studying some games by the greats lately, such as Ulf Anderson and Karpov where they use the Sicilian and I decided to start using it.
This is also a blitz game and I haven't really taken the time to analyze it. If you have feedback please don't be shy

The only major blunder that I am aware of making in this game was 17. Qf3 because black could have followed with 17... RF8. Fortunately he did not. All the tactics flowed from the positional advantage I gained.

Members can post requests for new matches in this category. In line with team strategy, approximate rating ranges for all matches will be:
Lower: 700-1300 (or 700-1100 or simply under-1200)
Middle: 1300-1700 (or 1200-1500 or 1600)
Higher: 1600-2000
Very High: above 1800 or above 2000
