I realized how much I play the Giuoco Piano Game and wanted to share it with you! The Giuoco Piano Game is a very common opening from 700-1400. It's a very simple opening to learn so here it is: First we will start with how you play it, then variations. That is the setup, now let's dive into the main line. Now that is the main line. I actually have never had a game like that before. If on move 4. Black doesn't go Nf6, you can simply just play d4 anyway. Some beginners might not want to play the aggressive e5. It's just fine if you take d4. Here is the variation I like to play best. On move 6. black does have Bb4 (best move). I haven't ever had an opponent that has played Bb4 though. So you won't have to worry about that. Here is another variation you could play: If you don't feel comfortable putting your knight on d2 then you shouldn't be playing c3, and playing Nc3 instead. Here is another variation you could play: If you don't want to play Nbd2 then play Nc3 on the 4th-5th move. Here is a game I won playing the Giuoco Piano Game. I blundered Bxf6 in the middle game.(don't do that) and my opponent resigned due to lack of material. I really suggest this opening because of it's simplicity and high play rate. Leave a comment if you have a question or find it useful!

Hello dear chess friends! I am David, a chess player from Romania. I've just found this club yesterday and I am happy to be a part of it. I think I will create this forum where I will present myself for the club members, for those who want to learn from me. From now I will create lessons in this club, which I hope can help you. Let's see what you have to know about me! I was always attracted to teach people not only in chess but in other things too. Now I think I reached the level of playing when I can start teaching people who want to learn. Currently I have a rapid rating of 1535, but I was on a tilt and I lost a few rating points. I am not really playing rapid, only against my students and in my city's practice tournaments. I started teaching this year and I already have a few students. You might think that a player like me, who started chess 1 year ago cannot be a good teacher, because I don't have too many experience, but I think experience isn't really linked to the age of the player. I already have above 3000 games played on chess.com and I am playing very often in OTB tournaments. However let's talk about my teaching method: As an ~1500-1600~ rated player I will accept students with the rating below 1300. I can talk during our teaching sessions in english, romanian and hungarian. I challenge my students to two unrated daily games (3 days per move) one with white and one with black and I will explain every move we play, like why I moved there, what was your mistake etc. I will invite you to my club "DavidGaming08 Students Club" and there you can join our vote chess games where we discusse our moves and I will tell you my insights. I let my students to come up with their own ideas and we will discusse them. I won't tell you the best moves, I will only try to get you better at chess thinking. My only criteria is that vote on our discussed move only in the last 24 hours and don't vote without seeing the chat. Please don't try to join the club if you are not my student. I will also create some studies in this club on endgames, tactical patterns and other. There will be also some daily tournaments for beginners. This is a new idea. If you have a Lichess account I can create two studies. In one of them I will give you some puzzles and in the other one we can analyze your games. Don't be sure that I will do this because I am just very busy this year, because I have exams and some national championships too. Sometimes when we both have time, we can also create some chess.com classroom meetings, but this won't be done many times. Well, I hope you are interested in this. You might have the question what does it cost. My answer is nothing. As an intermediate chess player and a beginner chess coach I don't want to get something in reverse because of this. Wow! Did you reach the end of this forum? Congratulations! If you have any questions just feel free to ask me. Regards, David
I was just playing some blitz and won 2 games with a trap many beginners and intermediates fall for! Even I have fallen for it! Here is the pattern: It is very easy to understand that there is a pin on the queen, and the Knight on d5 is applying pressure to f6. That makes the pawns doubled and a potential mating net on g7. It is very easy to trick your opponent into this. Here are my games that I won using this opening trap! I was black the first game. White the second. Please comment if you have a question or liked it! Than You
Hi, today I wanted to cover the Italian game! There are sacrifices that a TON of people fall for. Let's start off on how you play the Italian. I would say this opening could be played through 850-1700 elo. That is the setup, now let's go into some lines! This is actually a very simple and equal line if your opponent sees Nxe4. Now things are going to get a little crazy. You try to get a fork on f7 with Ng4, but d5. This is equal, but black has another tricky move up his sleeve. The Traxeler Counter Attack! That is the absolute best white can play. So many only moves. That is very unlikely your opponent will play that good unless you are like 1400+. Here are the tricks of the opening. The only "winning move" after Qh4 would be g3: Those are the only good moves for white Kg1 and Ke3. The rest are losing as you will see: queen trap!! last one The Traxeler is just deadly. Although you are more than likely to win, the king doesn't have to take on f2. I'll make another forum on that this or next week. Comment if you liked it, or are confused. Thank you
