Hi guys, this is the thread where you can introduce yourself to fellow members! A few lines is usually enough, no need to write essays although we wouldn't mind if you do write a bit, the more the better :P Let me go first, as you might have guessed from my profile, I am currently working in insurance in the UK. I have been playing chess since around the age of 13, but I stayed away from it for 3 years and I have just come back to it! Been playing for England for a while, but it's time to fly our own colours!!

Hi Everybody. We wil surely need everyone for this tournament and of course I'll participate and try my best to win every game> I encourage every one in our team t participate and have good experience and wish all good luck and have good games.

1) Study chess books? 2) Analyze games? 3) Just play a lot of them? Personally I have tried reading books: I've managed to finish one, some others I just stopped half way through because I got bored! Analyze own games or famous ones? I don't think I have enough experience to do that. I would just go over quickly over my own games so it's not really analyzing. Not to forget that, for 1 & 2 both takes a lot of time which I don't really have nowadays :( I also hope to improve my opening repertoire one day. I just know some theory + endgame

The team needs around 2-3 admins apart from myself! Let me know here if you want to be an admin and participate in the running of the team.
