Starting this Saturday, April 12th 2025, the Red Rooks Chess Club (St George, Utah) will be meeting for OTB play at the Santa Clara Library. We are no longer meeting at the St. George Library on Saturdays.
Our new schedule is:
Every Thursday from 4-7pm at the Santa Clara Library
Every Saturday except the last Saturday of the month from 2:30-5:30pm at the Santa Clara Library
We'll see you this Saturday at the Santa Clara Library!

Informal instruction provided. (What does this mean? It means that if you come with a friend that you usually play chess with, don't play with that friend. Find someone else to play with, and ask them to give you pointers as you play. Ask someone you play to teach you an opening or a gambit. It;'s okay if you lose to better players. As the saying goes, "I never lose. I either win or I learn.")
