Little is known about the Pre-United Empire era, but a part of its history is described in a mythical tale that was often told by Rodan.

Many creatures were created during the war effort to try to win for whichever side created them. However, after the war, a few of them survived and continued to remain and roam the lands and waters of Tirtareitha. They became known to the Ra'hgoori mainly as the 'Guardians' or 'Watchers'. It is possible that many of these Guardians were intentionally made to prevent the Ra'hgoori from achieving too much power once again. The most well-known Guardians can be listed below: - Irachuna - Roh'Kah - Voranthius - Lokkarophous - Alzu - Alectronis - Uro

During this time period, the curse of Aj'uro had fully taken its toll on those who had opposed him. Wars swepted the lands of Althadris, Tholaris, and those in between, destroying the land itself and its inhabitants. New clans, such as the Kakataka, rose and devastated each other. It only ended when the Rhvangr Stone was destroyed, after it had been accidently released by a Hungi known as Rularo.

The Golden Alliance era began during Aj'uro's invasion over Tirtareitha, with the formation of the Golden Alliance, which was formed in order for the Ra'hgoori to survive the invasion. Although they succeeded in defeating Aj'uro, they failed to restore the peace that they once knew, for the land was now tainted by the aftermath; a disease left behind by Aj'uro that tortured the victim's body both mentally and physically. As a result, many of the Ra'hgoori turned on each other, causing the Golden Alliance to fall apart in 65 AGA.

Though shrouded in mystery and only known through tales passed down the generations, it was known that a great Empire had existed from the unknown past up until 3,000 BGA, during which, all the ra'hgoori races lived under the rule of 14 Ajahs; Gorash, Mesu, Awyndru, Ishnogat, Cahaljir, Iwah, Rahnas, Zhurolan, Karu, Nedyithae, Vengaror, Axajjil, Rodan and Narkuth. These combined tales suggested the existence of a single, large island that consisted of several states. These states had combined their kingdoms to form the United Empire, which apparently experienced a stable peace for many millenia. As the United Empire progressed, the ra'hgoori slowly grew in power through their increasing knowledge. More specifically, the Hungies progressed extremely quickly and eventually rose from their original status as a 'slave race'. 7 of the Ajahs were concerned that they could eventually be challenged by the Hungies if this continued. However, the other Ajahs disagreed, and instead wanted to allow the them to continue to flourish in order to achieve their full potential. Eventually, at approximately 3100 BGA, conflict as a result of the disagreement between the two groups of 7 Ajahs led to the whole island splitting in two through many battles. Over the years, the Ajah killed each other through duels, assassinations and battles. This continued, until only one Ajah remained on either side - Mesu and Zhurolan. Over many years, the two Ajahs both came to the same conclusion; that the only way to prevent the same war from recurring, regardless of who was victorious, would be to permanently break up the United Empire by force. Thus, the two Ajahs indirectly worked together by both splitting up their own halves of the great island simultaneously, into many smaller islands, based mainly around what was the original 14 states. As a result, most of the ra'hgoori races remained together with their own people on each island. Nevertheless, the war and the spontaneous decisions against the majority of the people to split up the land had caused there to be much hatred against the two Ajahs, regardless of which side of the war they were on. At around 3000 BGA, it was unknown what became of Zhurolan and his lands, but it was commonly told that Mesu cast herself into hiding, leaving the people of the newly formed lands to look after themselves amongst the ruins of the once great United Empire. The sudden absence of Ajahs resulted to a huge loss of knowledge in magical arts. By 1,000 BGA, the events of the United Empire era became so distant that knowledge of what had happened had withered away into tales told as folklore and myths. The main characteristics of this era worth noting prior to it's end can be placed into the sections below: - Slavery - The teaching of magic - Fall of the Humans - Rise of the Hungies - Extinction of the Aggreddiorian race - The Great Diverge
