Self explanatory! Post links if u can! My personal favourite: Chekov: "Shall we raise our shields, Captain?" Kirk: "Never been this close." Chekov: "Shields up, Captain?" Valeris: "Captain, our shields!" Chekov: "Shields up, Captain?"

I hope you enjoy this puzzle. I must warn you that there are two correct first moves if you get the wrong one, well try the other.
Hello! I recently came across this from SF Signal. You don't really see a lot of book trailers, especially pertaining to anything Star Trek... The book (I'm in no way affiliated with it): http://quirkclassics.com/index.php?q=NightoftheLivingTrekkies And the book trailer (I'm not affiliated in any way with this either, thank goodness): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyO2k-jApng

Am done with right wing, left wing, liberal, conservative, democrat, republican, tea party, coffee party. We need more Trekkies running for political office. Picard speaks more to the truth that Jefferson and Franklin were about than any politician out there today. (although, to be honest, have heard Obama is a Trekkie.) Here's a link of Picard on Habeus Corpus, via one of my all time favorite sites, Fark.com, where links of news stories are gathered from across the world wide web, and truthful/humorous/sarcastic commentary is offered. Enjoy! http://www.fark.com/cgi/vidplayer.pl?IDLink=5467299

First of all, hi, and thanks for the groupinvite! Secondly, this seems like the ideal place to get some thoughts on a topic that pops up in my discussions every few years regarding ST. Here goes:A lot of technology from the original series and even quite a bit from TNG/DS9/VOY is either already invented (communicators, ramped up lasers could act as fasers, it's just too impractical but can be done), or is not so overly advanced that it can credibly be placed in the 24th century (holodeck, even nanoprobes). Obviously this does not go for warp speed or transporters - both quite unlikely to be feasible with any reasonable amount of energy, if at all - but it does apply to the 'minor' stuff that added flavor and storylines. So, if there will ever be another ST series - who knows? - we'll need a series of technological feats that can take their place, and since any prequel will run more and more into this issue (IMHO, ENT lacked some atmosphere due to it). But which ones? Let's assume a new series will be placed after VOY, so consistency is not a big issue. Let's hear your ideas ;)
