Hello for those interested in my tournament idea here is where you can register since this won't be typical chess.com tournament. Pairing will go off your chess.com ratings and the tournament is a match based knockout format meaning (each round is played as a match with a few twists) first off the matches get shorter the more you advancennut time control gets longer (5 day, 7 day, 10 day, 14 say making this a 16 player knockout. The matches will be (Round 1 8 game match, Round 2 6 games, Round 3 4 games etc... and in the event of a tiebreak a 2 day game where colors are decided at random and no vacation allowed) another twist is your only allowed to use vacation time once! Between both players the match be alternating colors or both sides play the same color all throughout but if a decision can't be reached within 24hrs then the way the match goes is at random! And another twist is the players can decide amongst themselves to play all games of their match at the same time or 1 at a time or somewhere in between. If a decision isn't made then 2 games at a time is the default.
