60 min or 30+30

How do I find people that want to play 60 min games or 30+30 games which are not cheaters ?

It's not easy... In that department seems like they are the vast majority, at least, among low-rated's like me, I'd say 80 or 90% of them use softwares. Sometimes it's super evident, sometimes less clear, but still ... Deeply disappointing

They do computer moves and they pretend to be GM's !! -LoL-

80-90 percent is far to much. I think a lot of people just beat you fair and square

Yep, it doesn't sound realistic... However also the games I've been playing recently weren't.. Likely was just a bad streak. However I always played 30min clock before, and have never encounter problems like I have found in 60min,, really weird games. People make bad openings, lose a piece like beginners and then for the next 2 hours they play really accurate and finally manage to win... Mmmmh, well okay let's say that 1 or 2 are ghosts of my mind, but not them all.

I know since the last year there's a new movie or something about Chess and by that all people started playing, so now the site is full of fumblers that don't know how to play, but they dream to! The most of them are super unsporty sometimes quite unpolite, they do not understand the philosophy of playing Chess, they have no etichette at all.

And it seems to me they have no strategy other than just doing a decent move as fast as possible, and well, someone is really good at it... Anyway, here I'm speaking about a very special chategory, which is: people who play 60 minutes clock. I think they are rare like white flies, so the percentage guessed by me is veery high --sure-- but it refers to only a very tiny fragment of the whole community.

Honestly I got so scared that I will not play 60 min anymore, except for people that I know and I trust. So finally I'm back to my previous standard, which is 30, and everything was fine there.

Just because I know myself, I know I'm totally crappy in blitz, almost decent in rapid, and... relatively good in classic, even better at 3-days-per-move.

So, anyone want to play a classic 90'+ 30" game, both Ancient and Modern Chess ? Addressed to honest players.

me, I'm in the 1400-1500 range and looking to improve. I am looking forward to playing as close to classical chess as possible. I vary a lot the openings and against e4 been playing almost invariably the sicilian, which led to a lot of crazy and blunder-friendly matches! Now I am trying to avoid it in order to minimize my blunders. Looking forward to the first match !

I'm just here to check messages right now. Sorry to say I'm in a very busy streak for some days, so not sure when I'll find the time to play, but I will eventually. I'm not stronger than you, around 1400, so I can't help much you to improve.

Against e4 I usually play e5, or also c5 sometimes, depends on the feelings.

Wish there was a classical option in live chess.
