Site-annotated pgn doesn't load in forum

Trying to post a game for someone and after I load the pgn, and the main problem is that it just doesn't load/resolve.

After I copied and pasted the pgn to Notepad and removed all the site's annotations, I was able to post the pgn in a forum without a problem .

I think that there must be:

  • a limit on the size of the pgn file that the site can handle or
  • a problem with the site's annotations
  • perhaps it is a problem with my local machine.

Any thoughts?

The offending pgn is contained in the last annotation. Removing it permits the load.

Not sure if the $146+ is the issue.

The $146 issue has been reported to staff. It's a knight promotion I believe

null moves and some Informant annotations choke chessdotcom's PGN reader. I run into this issue often and usually test my games before a lesson.

I mean in the game it's supposed to be a promotion to a knight and for whatever reason the  code is putting $146 in the PGN. Staff are are of the issue.

What is '$146'?

A numeric annotation glyph for PGN that means Novelty.

In this case, as MGleason pointed out, it was mistakenly used for underpromotion, and seems to be a coding error.

I'm MGleason?
