Chess.com, DGT Bt and Mac OS 13.1

Hi,

i need some help to play with the DGT e-Board with BT on a Mac OS Ventura.

I use the DGT Live 2 and it works fine with LIChess but I start to test it on Chess.com but i won‘t work… It always said: „DGT: Verbindung zum DGT Brett fehlgeschlagen: Noch einmal versuchen“

The Chess Live 2 has a connection to DGT Board - thats a littel bit spooky to me :-)

But when I start a connection to LICHESS it works perfectly…

i hope someone can help to find a solution

You need to go into settings and select the DGT board toggle in chess.com browser. But, it doesn't work properly. Since chess.com got rid of Live, the DGT board doesn't work correctly. Even with Live it wasn't perfect and you needed the DGT cherub from hyperdragon. But that only worked in Windows.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

If you play long enough on Lichess on Mac or Windows, you'll eventually come across move recognition issues and you'll need to go into the game tab to refresh. The best DGT experience I've come across is with Acid Ape on Android.
