That's a very interesting (and possibly strange) idea.

also one of a kind online art

aka, crazy online nonsense

XxThe_DestroyerxX

but there is just a limited amount of em and you the owners got the only right to show it and stuff

XxThe_DestroyerxX

what I don't quite see is, if all the games are in the internet anyways, what is the benefit to have the *only* right for it

The online form doesn't seem to be working as I write this. But please, a thousand times NO.

The chesscom dev team has been making great strides in advancing the platform. To wander off into the realm of questionable commodities speculation is off-market and off-message. Keep your eye on the ball.

If someone is able to make a compelling case for how NFTs can be a *productive* and *relevant* addition to this site, I'd love to hear such an argument.

FYI, we would NOT build this ourselves, but partner with someone to do this. Fully agreed - this isn't our core area of experience and we have too many other awesome chess features to build!

There's a decent chance that by the time you've partnered with someone to build this out, the fad will have faded.

i love the 'thinking outside the box' idea, but sometimes the box is there for a reason.

That is some consolation.  But even third-party integration has a non-zero impact on the team's attention.  Keep the features coming, instead!  The team is on a roll.  tournaments.png
