Love the irony

Time control is awfully "long" for a variant like this...

Tomtday

i would suggest invisible walls to be asked for. My only other comment is that while I like it, it might be a bit hard to make progress in, especially in higher rated games (in the endgame most of all)

I like the idea though... similar to hyper fiesta in ways....

Good to go!

Yeah, I was gonna ask for invisible walls. This WoF is similar to lone king war except it's a lot fairer. BTW if anyone was wondering why the horrible name, it's because at first, it looks simple, but after that, it's really about learning how to trap knights.

If so, 1/10|1 could work.

BoxJellyfishChess

looks really cool! I wonder if rg by teams would work?

lol you should know that I told the entire community of 4pc in the notes that lone war is thee worst wof ever..... lol this is a lot better than that no offence to creator of lone king war

Haha, the reason I made this comparison was because it was similar to it in terms of cramped board and less pieces

ChessMasterGS

This variant feels like an OG from 2020... we'll have to see if it gets accepted :/

Lone King War is scheduled for this Tuesday 7:00 PM EST to Wednesday 7PM EST, but when I hover over the information button, it just says tiny.cc/WOF, and not noting the creator

In recent WoF tournaments, the CGA team is omitting the by line if it was made by a tester, admin or CGA.

Personally, despite the fact I thought this was quite a hackneyed WoF idea, the gameplay turned out to be very invigorating and enthralling. However, it still does have some issues, notably: shuffling in endgames and little strategies. Our team proposes a revision, that introduces N-check to fix these issues and sets off captivating game imbalances.

Again, I cannot stress enough how entrancing the gameplay might be for the majority of players. Here is the game link revision link. The time control for your game shall remain the same unless you state otherwise.

You may decide to accept or decline our proposed changes and come up with your improvements.
