Connecting chess.com if you use a google sign in?

So I got my PRO yesterday, got the SO app, connected the board to the app, connected to lichess (which I don't use), then I tried connecting to chess.com. The app says if you sign in with google, facebook, twitch, anything but directly signing into chess.com then it's not supported. 

Got on the live chat with SO, and they told me they don't support chess.com at all! I tell them I'm looking at the box that says it does, your app has the option to connect, all your ads say it works with either site....Long pause....."We'll get back to you"

I probably just need to play with it some more, but I couldn't even get a live game through lichess or the SO app. Any help offered is greatly appreciated. I've been so excited for this and I'm pondering a return. I'm really glad I didn't get the auto move boards. At the very least it will record my OTB club games, but I had much higher hopes for it than just that. Thank you.

So as far as I know, you were able to get your SOP connected to your chess.com (cc) account.  I'm wondering if you're running into a similar issue as I am.  Although I'm logged into cc, when I search the online list, I'm not able to find my cc friends.  I messaged support on Square Off, but they need further details from me.

So, what do they mean by "anyone" on chess.com.  Is this only other people who are both Square Off users and have a chess.com account because so far I'm not able to challenge my cc friends.

Yes, thanks to you I was able to connect to chess.com. For anyone else that may have trouble, all I had to do was go into settings on chess.com, change my password and I guess that made a native login for the SO app to be able see.... 

I've been wondering the same thing. Is it searching for a PRO user even on chess.com and lichess? Because I've only be able to get a live game through the square off app itself. As you all know it takes less than a second to get a random game but I can't get any game through chess.com or lichess. I'm actually considering just using their app for online play because I know those players are also using the same board I am and that would give me an OTB rating and an online rating without mixing the two. Although, I would still like the option to be able to play through with the board through chess.com, as the board does advertise this feature.

Is it just your friends you are unable to get a game with through chess.com or is it getting a game at all? Because that's been my issue so far, and why I'm just thinking of sticking to the SO app for online play.

 You need to sign in to chess.com first in square off app then you will be able to challenge chess.com player.

At this day (november 2023), I also can't search open games in chess.com or lichess.org using SO app.
