Creating a diagram with editor

Step 1, copy the FEN string for the current board position to your clipboard.  First click on the Download icon on the right below the moves.

Click in the textbox at the top of the popup dialogue to highlight the FEN string, and then type Ctrl + A to select it, and Ctrl + C to copy it to your clipboard.

Step 2 - open the diagram editor by clicking on its icon above the comments textbox below the board.

3. Click on Load FEN, and then type Ctrl + V to paste in the FEN string which you saved to the clipboard.

4. Under Moves, you can make moves on the board by dragging and dropping the pieces.

5. Click on Setup, click on the textbox below the FEN string, and then type Ctrl + A and then Ctrl + C to save your moves to the clipboard.

If you lose all your work because it took too long to create the diagram, just open the diagram editor again, and paste the record of your moves into the same box under Setup.

6. Click on the Insert button.

7. Click on the Post button.

To add a comment, right click on a move, and select Comment Before or Comment After from the pop up menu:

To turn the board so that the Black pieces are at the bottom and White at the top click on this button under Setup Position:

I can make a 3 second video, Close Chess.com account.  That is the only easy thing in V3 sadly.

Just saw my ALERT for updates in this thread ... today.  ~4 weeks after the fact... .

V2's yellow-alert box was so much better than this V3-thing.
