Creation Museum

I am just curious if anyone here has visited the Creation Museum founded by Ken Ham? I realize that chess.com has a global community, but if you ever have the chance to visit central U.S.A. then this stop is a blessing. This museum tells the true narrative of Earth, evolution (which is a lie - although natural selection is true. Natural selection describes variations and adaptations of animals over generations, but one animal can't "evolve" [gain genetic material] into another species due to genetic drift) and many other Christian-supporting scientific evidence. It is nice to see a place with scientific evidence (although the Bible should be enough proof) that doesn't conclude with evolution as true or Earth being billions of years old.

Unrelated, but if you like science (or simply curious about some evidence that supports the Bible), I recommend these two books:

The Lie: Evolution (Ken Ham)

Creation Facts of Life (Dr. Gary Parker) This second book is also unique in the fact that Dr. Gary Parker was originally an evolutionist. In his quest for evidence supporting evolution and "billions of years", he actually found more evidence for creation and a younger Earth.

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)

Great post.. thanks for the topic. I should like to visit it some time.  Love Ken Ham. They gave me permission to duplicate their VHS videos to share with friends.  Creation.com is my favorite apologetics site.

Definitely on my family's to do list.  I'd see the Ark Encounter while there as well.  I have the Answers Book series from Answers in Genesis and I frequently watch their talks.  Very encouraging and a great confirmation of a reasonable faith!

Oh yes, in many ways they along with ICR laid the groundwork for others to follow.

Yes, good point. When I visited the Creation Museum, I also visited the Ark Encounter in the same trip. I realize that these two places are not free to go to (entrance fee circa $80 if I remember) plus traveling costs, but these places are still cheaper than Disney world and similar parks; God's Word is certainly more important than these. The Ark Encounter is another great recommendation; thanks for mentioning it happy.png

Thank you MF... had a chance to look at the video.  So awesome they're bringing awareness to abortion!  There's some pretty amazing videos at https://www.liveaction.org/
