Dayton Chess Society is excited to return to be running chess classes for students of The Dayton Business Technical High School (BTHS) the week of 10/25. We're looking for volunteers who love chess and think they might have an aptitude for teaching or helping in some way. We're having an organizational meeting at the Dayton Public Library, Moraine-Kettering branch on 10/16 from 1-3 PM. RSVP to info@daytonchess.org.
We hope to be entering arrangements with BTHS to use their facilities at nights and weekends for public classes and possibly other Chess activities. We also hope to renew activities at Dayton Public Libraries, but nothing currently scheduled.
