Did Bobby Fischer humiliate Nigel Short with the score 8 0 0?

Bobby Fischer played multiple games toying with Nigel Short by inexplicably moving his king out into the center of the board (one time making four consecutive king moves) and still winning the chess game against the British Champion! Nigel Short came out publicly with the games and stated he played Bobby Fischer twenty years ago played them. Looking at all eight games, I believe Bobby Fischer did play them even though he played many eccentric moves in all eight games. Bobby Fischer once said that he hated chess. Was that because he was bored and could not find a decent player to go up against him on line?
