Scout the Area, and see if there are the warden spawners, if there are, mine them up and look for chests, you MUST do this all when crouching. If you want you can go back up, get wool and use that to absorb sound so the shriekers don't hear you. Loot the chest and take everything, even the fragments because with 9 you can make a music disk.

Scout around, it'll help you to make a hoe because it mines the sculk all super fast. Wool is helpful as well. If you don't summon the warden, you can probably find some notch apples and full enchaned diamond gear and some good enchanted books. If you do spawn it, pearl away or run as fast as you can and dig up as fast as you can(not down, that's how you die to the sonic shriek) if you don't trust yourself then just mark the coords and leave it for later
