You got it new today or just saw the alert you clicked on today? If it's a previous alert it's likely related to your other post and part of the notification bug from the other day.
It's a new invitation or maybe a bugged one.

In your other topic you mentioned not being on site for a few days so all the issues are likely due to the notification issue from a few days ago vthats being worked on. Those probably came in during that time.
Invitation bugged? maybe it should be deleted after the game starts/gets canceled.
