That's not a hack
hack para ajedrez solitario

I am as confused as you are on the who, what, when, where, why, how... but try clicking on or maybe just hovering over the piece that switched color. I have done that with a few oddities that I came across and it resolved the issue. ie: my opponents pieces shrunk after moving, so the bishop resembled a pawn... Then by hovering and/or clicking on them they came back to normal size

The pieces switch color once you can't move them anymore... also each piece can move (capture) 3 times and then it turns black. This is all in the rules.

He's saying that he had already used his moves for his rook and it turned black, then he captured another piece but it was wrong, so he went back a move to retry it and his rook was white again and he was able to more it more than the 3 times it allows

Solo chess. Find it when you hover over the puzzle piece on the left side of your screen.

Twice. But there has been a bug that if you do that, then move another piece twice, the original piece still can't be moved but changes back to the original color. It appears it may still be doing that.
